Derek Beaulieu has been an editor of dANDelion, endnote and twice at filling Station (1998-2001 and 2004-present) in addition to editing housepress from 1997-2004. Anne Burke is the editor of Prairie Journal and a full member of the League of Canadian Poets. She founded the Alberta Magazine Publishers Association and the first charter school in Alberta (for gifted children).

Jenna Butler is an educator and poet who makes her home in Edmonton. Her work has garnered a number of awards, including CBC’s Alberta Anthology, and has been widely published in journals, anthologies and literary magazines in Canada and abroad. She is the founding editor of Rubicon Press.

Jesse Ferguson was raised in Cornwall, Ontario, and is a member of The League of Canadian Poets. His poems have been published in eight countries, in both print and online formats. Recently, his work has appeared in: Ygdrasil, Matrix Magazine, Hammered Out, West 47, Word Riot, Spire, Jones Av., The Prairie Journal, Carillon Magazine, QWERTY, Aesthetica, Ottawater and some poems are slated to appear in the upcoming issues of The Nashwaak Review and dANDelion. Vivian Hansen’s poetry “Leylines of My Flesh” chronicles the voices of Danish immigrants to Western Canada. She won the First Annual Poetry Contest with Legacy Magazine in 2007. She also reviews for the Canadian Journal of Ethnic Studies.

Donald Officer is a retired Ottawa teacher who has taught in the city’s high schools community college and university programs for many years after earlier successes in communications and journalism. He continues to consult, train and free lance although he’s now turning his attention again to creative writing as both a pursuit and study. In the eighties, Don was active in the Ottawa poetry scene submitting pieces that were often published in small magazines. He also contributed as an editor, radio host and featured reader. Reigniting his passion for poetry, he’s putting together a new collection while further refining his reviewer’s skill set. He aims to reach an audience that enjoys what he does.

Patrick M. Pilarski lives in Edmonton, and is the co-editor of the international short-form journal DailyHaiku. His work has appeared and is forthcoming in publications across North America, Europe, and Japan, recently including PRISM international, The Antigonish Review, Literary Review of Canada, and Modern Haiku. His first full-length collection, Huge Blue (2009), is forthcoming from Leaf Press, and he is the author of one experimental short-form chapbook: Five Weeks (2007).

James Pollock grew up in southern Ontario.
